Your questions, answered

Why should I pursue a M.Eng.?
A master’s degree in engineering will prepare you for the management side of engineering and increase your salary potential. Data suggests that obtaining a master’s will increase pay on average of $15,000 per year

What sets WWU's M.Eng. program apart?
Our program combines equal emphases on management methods, research and design applications, and technical engineering classes in a new engineering discipline compared to your undergraduate experience. This unique combination builds skills that would typically require multiple master’s degrees from other institutions to achieve the same result.

Why should I complete a 4+1 M.Eng. at WWU?
Enrolling in WWU’s M.Eng. program directly after earning an undergraduate degree is a convenient way to add skills and project experience to your resume. Additionally, the project experience and added technical skills in a second discipline increases your post-graduation job flexibility and prepares you to move into higher-paid management roles more quickly.

Is this program accessible to working professionals?
Coursework may be customized to allow working professionals to grow their expertise. Some courses may require attendance on campus only one day per week or one-week immersive experiences. Enrolled students working full-time should consider a minimum of 6 quarters to complete their degree.
